Jana Leigh grew up in Lansdale, Pennsylvania and graduated from North Penn High School. Jana Leigh received her first guitar
at age sixteen and shortly after that, she joined her first band. She first started performing with Donna Pick in the late 1980's.
The duo performed gospel music at churches and local coffee houses. They then went on to form the band "Undivided Heart."
She played
bass with the band "Spec" before forming the all girl band, "Tickled Pink" a classic rock alternative band. “Spec” recorded an Over
the Rhine song called Hej-I do for a CD compilation project called What It Takes To Please You. The song was chosen to represent the
CD.
During the week, Jana Leigh performs acoustical top 40’s and oldies music at The Potbelly Sandwich Works in Reston and Manassas,
Virginia. She also enjoys singing big band music from the 1940’s and 1950’s.
Sunday mornings, Jana Leigh enjoys singing in the Video
Café Band at New Life Christian Church.
Jana Leigh has produced two music recordings with Donna Pick and a collection of stories and
songs for children.
On the weekend, Jana Leigh enjoys her new extreme sport "wing walking " at the Flying Circus Aerodrome in
Bealton Virginia. Jana Leigh opens each show by singing the
National Anthem.
In 1994 Jana Leigh represented Chester County in the
Mrs. Pennsylvania America Pageant as well as competing for the Ms. Harley-Davidson Title.
